The Fanoos story
Fanoos began with a simple question from parents in Sheikh Zayed: where can our children learn English without drifting away from Arabic — somewhere warm like home, with a real garden to play in?
We chose a villa with a big garden, put two teachers with two languages in every class, and built our day around play, stories and good food. As our very first children grew up, we added the Lantern Club so they could stay with us after school.

Two classrooms and a garden
We opened with two rooms for Explorers and Little Learners.
