About
Khatt: architecture from the inside out
The office takes its name — Arabic for ‘line’ — from the first thing we draw on every project: a single line on paper that sets the house against the sun, the street and the garden.
We believe good architecture doesn’t need to show off. We care about proportion, light and honest materials, and about the details people touch every day: a door handle, a stair tread, a window sill wide enough to sit on.
We keep a limited number of projects on the board at once, so each stays in the hands of an architect who knows it well.
