About
From a home oven to Road 9
Khamira began with a small jar of starter, a home oven in Maadi and a handful of loaves sold to neighbours every Friday. Each week the list grew a little longer.
Today we bake twice a day at our Road 9 bakehouse, with the same Egyptian wheat and the very same starter we began with. The method hasn’t changed: four ingredients, two days of patience and a hot stone oven.
