Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone (optional), billing country, interface language.
• Business details you enter to build your site: name, description, address, contact channels, opening hours, logo, images and text.
• Payment data: the transfer receipts you upload, the transaction reference and the sending account. We never collect or store card details. If we offer card payments, they are processed by the licensed payment gateway.
• Domain registration data: registrant contact details (name, address, phone, email), required by ICANN.
• Messages your site visitors send through contact and booking forms, kept for you in your inbox.
• Limited technical data: server logs for security, and aggregated visit statistics for customer sites.

Cookie-free visitor statistics

Sites published on Monjz set no cookies on their visitors' devices, and we do not store visitors' IP addresses. Visits are counted as daily totals using a temporary fingerprint that changes every day and cannot identify anyone. The Monjz dashboard uses only the cookies needed for sign-in and security.

How we use data

• To provide the service: building, hosting, publishing and translating your site.
• To manage subscriptions, invoices and payment review, and to send necessary notices such as invoices, payment confirmations and password resets.
• For security and to prevent abuse and fraud.
• To improve the product using aggregated usage data.

Artificial intelligence

To generate and translate your site's content, we send the business information you entered to our AI model provider, Anthropic (Claude models), through its commercial API. Under its commercial terms, the provider does not use this data to train its models. We may also use AI to read payment receipts and help our team review them; the final decision is always made by our team.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers working for us, and only as needed:

• Hosting, servers and email: servers we operate with a hosting provider.
• Anthropic: AI content generation.
• Namecheap: domain registration and management, with free WHOIS privacy enabled.
• Cloudflare: DNS for our domains.
• Unsplash: free stock photos for your site, when that feature is on.
• A licensed payment gateway, when card payments are offered.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Retention

• Account and site data: for the life of the account, then deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Invoices and payment receipts: for the period accounting and tax laws require.
• Aggregated visit statistics: up to 400 days.
• Unfinished wizard drafts: 7 days.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, object to its processing, or withdraw consent. You can edit most data directly in your dashboard, or contact us at support@monjz.me. We reply within 30 days.

Security

Every page uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Sensitive files such as payment receipts are stored privately, where only their owner and our admin team can reach them, and internal access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure: if a breach affects your data, we will notify you without undue delay.

Children

The service is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
